April 11 - Meditation, Drums and Pumpkins

I cannot believe that it is almost a fortnight since I last posted. My journal is full of my jottings and ramblings however bringing them to light on this page has been a lesson in establishing routines.  Okay, Okay ~ I'm listening!

Our household is in Holiday Madness mode... with the MOAHS (master of all he surveys) on holidays all our routines and rituals have been thrown up into the air.  For me, it's been a huge lesson in letting go and also to stop judging what I do as right or wrong, good or bad.  It just is ~ what doesn't get achieved is something that will hold over to another day.

It has been interesting also to see MOAHS responses to my little rituals - the five minutes of mediation here and there ("What ARE you doing outside in the sun???" "Did you hear what I said just then?" etc etc).  It's even had the effect of him taking the 5 minutes to just BE... now whether he is actually meditating or thinking how to pull apart the motor on the lawnmower is not important.  That silence and stillness is the focus!

Then of course, he had a first hand experience with my Medicine Drum.  The look on his face as I used my medicine drum, incense and spirit speak to cleanse the house after being away? Priceless! *giggles*

This coming month is the Autumn Clean. Not only is it in preparation for the Wedding of the Year coming up soon it is also an opportunity to sort, clear, store and remove energies and physical objects.  Our gardens are a huge focus for us during this time.  It's giving us an opportunity to 'meet' with the animals and insects that also call our residence home.

As we did the first sweep of the garden to prioritise and organise our time, resources and enthusiasm, we noted that during Samhain, we will be eating a LOT of pumpkin.. 12 pumpkins on the vine and will be ready to harvest in the next few weeks.  If anyone has any great pumpkin recipes, please feel free to send them in!

A stunning pumpkin flower from our garden.

March 28 - Blood Lightning

Our bodies are amazing, aren't they?  As much as they are battered and bruised by a continual stream of neglect and abuse by their current inhabitants (us!), they still continue to function and communicate with us.

Recently, I've been learning about the power of living in the Question rather than seeking the answers.  This has been fun!  Learning to turn a need for an answer into allowing the openness of the Universe's infinite giving to respond.

I thought I'd start with some of the big questions.

What do I need to know to lead a phenomenal life? (Thank you to Shelli for the lead on that question!)

Beautiful Body, what do you need to perceive, know, be and receive to be the amazing body that you truly be?

What will it take to lose another 10 kilograms? (I know! I know! So physical of me.. *laughing*)

The perception of the Universe's responses has been mind-blowing as well as putting this human body into a healing crisis.  However, it's all good!  When I can see the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel, I can endure anything and everything.

So, I asked the Universe another question ~ what do YOU call it when we are feeling that total alignment of Body, Mind, Spirit; when we feel at ONE with ALL?

To be honest, I'd forgotten I'd even posed that question in consciousness until I picked up my new Mayan Oracle Deck by Ariel Spilsbury.  I'd been using the cards for daily self-readings and was so impressed with how they were answering my questions!  I felt a little guilty that I hadn't even read the preface to the book, so I flipped it open to read and BAM! There were the words jumping out at me : Blood Lightning

This is a concept of the Maya from the Serpent of Creation running through your body so that you KNOW that you are in alignment.  You can feel the buzz of creativity flowing from the Divine rather than your physical form.  The intuition kicks in and you flow.  It's the shamanic revelation; the visionary's dream; the prophet's words and the artist's creation.  It is the essence of creation and inspiration.

Those two words ~ blood lightning ~ feel so right and aligned with my current perception.  I wanted to share them with you today.

Let's ask the question: What will it take for you to feel the Blood Lightning in your everyday life?

March 22 ~ Little Red Riding Hood

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of providing a healing session for a lovely lady. During her session, a vision was given for her healing by the Goddess Artemis. Today, I would like to share this with you.

In this vision, 'we' were Little Red Riding Hood ~ wandering the forest, enjoying life and looking forward to the abundance, love and comfort to be found at 'Grandma's'.  As we walked the forest, we felt the energy; realising that it didn't feel comfortable or light.

We were confronted by the 'Wolf' dressed as Grandma.  It looked like Grandma ~ kinda; it said all the right things ~ kinda.  But then, Little Red Riding Hood began to QUESTION.  "Grandma ~ why do you have such big eyes?  Why do you have such big ears? Why do you have such big teeth?"  Listening to the responses made by the Wolf, Little Red felt that something wasn't right.  She stepped back, from her basket she pulled out a bow and arrow, and said:

"I don't need someone else to come and chase you away.   Your thoughts and your actions are yours alone. Do what you will - You have no power over me."  Shooting the arrow, I could clearly see the words:  Clear. Cancel. Delete.

In a plume of smoke, the Wolf was gone!

I felt that this vision was a reminder that we are all powerful in our thoughts and our own creation of 'reality'.  Do we want to accept that the world is limited to the rules and regulations of society or would we prefer to reflect and attract the magic that is within everything?  I know which one I would choose!

Let's look at some of the other imagery here ~ the path, the journey of life; the trees representing wisdom; the red hood reprsenting the base chakra and the girl representing the power of innocence; the arrow representing truth and the bow representing latent power until released.

* Magic!*

March 21 ~ Equinox balancing

♥ Whether you think your dream is big or small
The magic lies in believing you can reach it all! ♥
~ by Caithe Cameron, 2012 ~

The Equinox is here with its balancing act.  This time of year is a call to each of us to reassess and 'juggle' our lives so that balance is restored.  With Ostara in the North and Mabon in the South, we are called to see to the health of our mind.

Sounds great on paper, doesn't it?  Some days, I feel my juggling skills flowing so smoothly and others, the balls drop to the ground causing a minor (or major) hissy fit. *grinning*  So what can I do to help this all flow more smoothly?

The first step is to acknowledge your body and how it is feeling.  Wow! That's really interesting, darling body that you are feeling this way. What would it take for you to pick those balls up and start juggling smoothly again?

Maybe its a nice warm bath or a spot of exercise.  Maybe it is a need for some private time in meditation or treating yourself to a massage.  Maybe it is going to safe space and screaming your frustrations out to the sky.

The magic lies within the feeling of lightness.  This is a need for awareness of how our body is feeling ~ if the energy within your body feels light, its right!  If it is feeling heavy and blah, then your body is in resistance to the movement, the action, the experience.

For today, spend time listening to your body and negotiating with it. How?  Like parenting, you need to be consistent with your follow-through.  "Darling Body, I know you do not want to go to work/do the shopping/ironing etc. However, this is a responsibility with both have.  Let's do our responsibility and then we'll do something fun!  Body, what would you like to do?  (and listen; what feels right and light to do after you have met your responsibilities?)  Make sure to follow through!  A body in tantrum mode is not a pretty sight ;)

I leave you today with a blessing for the Equinox:

March 13 - Party gatecrashers

Good morning Infinite Ones! It's a glorious Mabon day here in the south-east of Queensland.  I was so tempted by the sunrise this morning, I took my laptop outside so I could sit in this beautiful energy to write my blog this morning.

With birthdays, menopausal symptoms, lunar cycles, solar flares, planetary alignments and giving Reiki Attunements within the last month, my own energies have been all over the place. ARGH!  Meditation, Celticai Essence and sleep have been my lifeline to sanity.

The energy of the 10th was particularly interesting. This was the day of my birth and I welcomed 5 Angels in to visit me for 5 days (if anyone has received this blessing, they will know how powerful it can be!).

First, we were visited by a 1.5m long Green Tree Snake.  I was setting up the decorations for the party when I noted movement to my right.  Oh great!  I called out to the manly MOAHS (Master of all HE surveys) to come and remove the legless lizard that was sitting in MY armchair.  MOAHS lifted the cushion of the chair and both of us jumped back in surprise when curled up underneath the cushion was a pretty green tree snake.  She slithered off the chair and underneath the BBQ located nearby.  Oh great!  Guests would be arriving in a couple of hours and a snake would be around. Hmm.

I let MOAHS do the 'manly' thing of moving furniture, getting the broom and generally trying to force the snake to move its slithery self out into the yard.  Meanwhile, I quickly started to send Reiki energy to the snake and asked it politely to move away from the party zone.  She was quite indignant as she wanted to party! *laughing*  MOAHS went away to complete more manly tasks. On returning, we discovered that the snake had disappeared. I'm still not sure where she went!

Snake usually means a time of transformation that flows with the cycle of life ~ very fitting for a birthday!

On with the decorating, I moved over to my sacred space to rearrange my altar decorations. I went to move my lizard statue given to me by my mother only to find that it was REAL! ARGH!!!!! *laughing*  Sitting next to my statue was the biggest skink I've seen around our home!  Sitting very still and statue-like, giving me the eye!

To me, Skink represents quickness, darting energy, being everywhere at once!  Also very fitting!

The party over, the cleaning began ~ as I commented on Reflect Radio, you could see where certain party members had been by the trail of coloured popcorn throughout the house! *giggling*  Tis Magic!  After tidying up and collapsing into our chairs to relax, I could hear a noise coming from our garage. Oh no! Please, not a possum!  MOAHS sprang into masculine action and went into the garage ready to battle the atrocity that had dared to enter the inner sanctum of the GARAGE (and incidentally the garage connects with my Healing Studio!).  I could see this brown/grey bird in the open rafters of this room... oh!!! A Shrike Thrush!  These are quite uncommon in these parts ~ their song is beautiful!  After MOAHS scared the little one half to death and my sending Reiki to help it realise that the doors were DOWNwards not UPwards, the Shrike eventually flew into the garden.

Shrikes mate for life and are known for their song.  As I sat with this visiting energy, I was reminded of the need to always sing my song (even when your knees are shaking).

March 9 - Virgo's "not tonight, Josephine!"

It certainly has been an interesting period of time during the last few days. To begin, Venus, Jupiter and Mercury aligned in the stars followed by the mass consciousness thinking of the change in seasons (Autumn/Spring - depending on your hemisphere); then there were the two major solar flares and the Full Moon in Virgo.  In eleven days time, the equinox arrives in all it's seasonal glory as well... WOW! Lots of change, lots of energy coming through our little planet.

For me, these energies have been bringing up thoughts, feelings and past misdeeds so that my 'inner child' could wail, cry and say 'woe is me'. I acknowledge this part of myself by listening to my body and my thoughts then doing something that is pampering, uplifting to help clear/cancel/delete those thoughts and feelings.  I've been sending a lot of love and light to my past 'selves' - yes, I know you didn't make the best choice or react in the most loving manner at that time. It IS time to 'get over yourself' and just BE.

There's been so much clearing, cleansing and energising going on that my body has felt a bit like a dishrag - worn out!  I've had a stinking migraine for the last two days that will respond to water, essential oils and lots of TLC then suddenly reappear as a new wave of energy rides through. Gah!  I had to have a giggle at the Virgo Full Moon ~ Virgo is the Virgin, protecting her chastity and integrity.  It made me think of Napolean's famous quote: Not tonight, Josephine!

Thinking of Napolean, as one does, this past week has been spent writing lessons for a palmistry course currently in development.  While researching the history of palmisty, I came across a very interesting bit of history.  Napolean was into the occult arts - and his betrothed, Josephine used the skills of a palmist named de Normande.  de Normande was the one who informed Napolean of his coming greatness as Emperor of France.  Unfortunately, she also told him divorce was inevitable between Josephine and himself.  She ended up being imprisoned by Napolean and was finally released when he was sent to Alba.

If you have been contemplating the energies of this moon and wondering why you have been switching back and forth between fear/total trust, laughter/tears, ease/dis-ease ~ just drink some more water! These energies are helping us make the choice of light rather than choices of fear so we can move higher and higher.  If you need to pamper that inner child as they battle this see-saw of emotion, just say: Not tonight, Josephine!

ps. There is a lot going around about balancing brooms and eggs at this time.  I tried it ~ perhaps the space/time continuum doesn't work correctly at my house because I was unable to achieve this feat. :)

March 2 - The Hermit within

Today's blog is simply a poem I wrote to capture the feelings and knowings I experienced on the First of March:

Last night the cold winds whispered;
And the fog of fear settled around my heart
Unpleasantness and pain surrounded me
I felt cold, alone and in the dark.

Lost, I called out to the Universe
"Help me! I don't know which way to go?"
A glimmer of light shone down before me
An illuminated path began to glow...

I felt the wings of angels wrap around me
A travelling staff and lantern placed into my hand
"This is the path you are meant to travel..
Here, now, from the darkness, make your stand"

Unsure in this darkness, the lantern began to glow
With knees quaking; I stood and turned.
"This is your power that lights the way
Choose your path, now; consciously discerned"

I stepped into the beam thrown by the lantern's light -
Seeing this place with eyes that now could see
What I thought of darkness and no respite
Was actually my choices reflected back at me.

The day has dawned and the light shines bright
With momentary choices, my path revealed
Knowing when I feel the darkness set in -
It's up to me : the choice, the power to wield.

February 29 - Leaping with JOY

JOY - you can feel it well up within you and it just needs to find expression somehow.  I love that feeling!  Yesterday, I attended an Access Consciousness class up in the Sunshine Coast of Queensland.  At the moment, the name Sunshine Coast is a bit of a misnomer as every time I visit, there are rain clouds!  (Goddess Mari, is that you following me again??)

After the process of clearing and my bars were run, I had this feeling of joy running through me.  In those moments of pure joy, I felt alive, energised and aligned. It was magical.  I leaped (ps. I thought the verb was lept!) around the room like a crazy thing!  It was amazing!  Considering that I was in a lot of pain from the medical condition my body creates, this was truly amazing. *laughing*

Today, I wake up and that sense of joy is still with me - I am conscious of keeping it alive and flowing freely.  I've also asked the Universe for visibility - for my energy to be seen for what it is and for what I wish to create in my life.

Funnily, I posted this statement on one of my Facebook pages. Within minutes, I was attacked as being full of excrement. *giggles*  Nice.  Once upon a time, I would have retracted in horror, dismay and disgust that I could have that reaction.  Today, I energetically thanked that person for 'seeing' me - even though they didn't like my energy. That's okay!  I also banned them from my page.  I don't need negativity, thank you very much.

If you 'see' me and resonate with what I say, feel and do - thank YOU!

In honour of today, I'm asking my hubby to marry me. *giggles*  It's an old custom where women could have the freedom to walk up to their beau of choice and ask their hand in marriage.  My husband is my choice - one that I make every day because I 'see' him - all the parts that make him the person that he is in the moment.  It's a wonderful opportunity to renew, recreate and celebrate our relationship.  Magic!

I hope you have the opportunity to let the Joy flow through you today.

February 27 - Time to Get Smart

Energy - it's all around us. It is the very essence of our being allowing us to vibrate.  I've been contemplating the meaning of that word: energy.  I feel I would like to share what thoughts I've been playing with in my mind

Energy just IS - it is neither good nor bad.  However, what we perceive is good/bad is due to the emotional vibration within ourselves!

I was thinking of this as my hubby and I were watching Get Smart - I was giggling and laughing so hard while my husband sat there watching the television.  I asked him if he thought it was funny - he thought it was amusing.

This made me think about how energy affects us all differently - it's neither right nor wrong.  We just need to understand our emotional responses.  Easier said then done at times.

As I've been thinking about and 'feeling' my own body's shifts within this New Moon, the rain has been pouring over the great south-east of Queensland.  Thankfully, we have had no flooding here at our own residence.  The vegie garden is flourishing even under 30cm of water. *laughing*

A friend who reads this blog (Hi Jenny!) tells me that I'm delusional.  She wants to know where I've been living seeing that I have complained that summer has not hit.  We have had the random day of heat and mugginess - definitely!  What I'm not seeing is the days of constant heat and humidity - where you lie in bed in a pool of your own sweat, just hoping that stray breeze may blow through the window; where the feeling of your clothing sticking to your body is unbearable and you wish you could be sleeping in a pool instead!

Ahh, the mysteries of geography!  Actually, we went to visit Jenny and her family yesterday. She lives near the sea.  As we drove along the roads I noticed that Jacaranda and Flame trees were in flower. WHAT???  They usually flower in November!!!!! *laughing*

Contemplating energy as 'just is' and viewing my response to it appears to be the challenge of the moment.  It's time to Get Body Smart - I'm up for it! Are you?

February 23 - Which way do you flow?

Don't you adore having friends that you can bounce ideas off?  Yesterday, I spent some time with different friends from around the globe - either in person or via technology.  Each have a wealth of wisdom and experience behind them and their knowing.  Whether they know it or not, they helped me process a lot of information and healing.  To them, I say thank you.

With this amazing energy of the New Moon around us - Pisces is pulling us in two directions!  Trying to find truth and trying to find 'normality'.  *laughing* Normality?? Wow!  What a concept!  Do I really want to be in the confines and restrictions of what society deems to be 'normal'?

To this I say a resounding NO.

My energy is bringing up gratitude, celebration, renewal and release - how does it get any better than that?  Freedom to be the weird, wacky, zany and colourful person that I am.

I feel that there are quite a few of my circle of influence that find that 'wholeness' of me to be quite confronting.  It's my choice to acknowledge this is their karma, their choice.  Mine is to be all that I can be - to the best of my ability.

Which direction are you following today?

The storms have been raging here - with record rainfalls, lots of lightning and gusty winds.. Sounds just like the energy surrounding us all!

February 23 - Walking the Walk.

Today feels enormous in terms of healing energy - there's the New Moon in Pisces and an upcoming moon 'wobble' on the 28th.  For those of us who are energetic 'sensors', we will be feeling this energy quite intensely.  No wonder Spirit has been guiding me to complete workshops and to attend classes on Access Consciousness - it's a push in the healing direction for myself as well as for helping others with their own progression.  While I was being grateful for this energy and contemplating what this meant for myself, I received this vision:

"The Healing Journey can feel like walking across one of those rope bridges across a big canyon! You know you want to get to the other side but when you look down, your fear factor kicks in and you cling for dear life to the rope - not moving forward, not moving backward. Just stuck. Then all of a sudden, an angel appears to help you, guide you and set you forward with determination. Many spiritual tools are available to help you find your way forward - each created to resonate with different people. May you find your 'angel' today - be it person, crystal, essence, healing energy or a knowing deep within."

It was this huge light bulb in my mind going off like a frog in a sock!  I was shown all the 'angels' that have been in my life over the years - each coming into my energy because I created that opening by being open to healing. How magic is that?

These have been people and their giftings, crystals, essences, healing modalities that I have explored, family members, life experiences, crystals and 'real' angels, animals and spirit guides too.  When you sit and ponder this, it blows your mind!  Well, it blew my mind today! *giggles*

When we are stuck on that rope bridge of the vision, we forget that we are indeed Beings of Light.  If we just let go of the rope, we will not fall because our own lightness of being will carry us through.  All we need to do is  believe, trust and own our light.  Our 'angels' jump in when we are ready to receive!

Is that ALL? *laughing*  That's the amazing part of our healing journey.. it really is full of ease and joy, it is just BEING the question: What else is possible?

February 21 - The Yeast Beast

After writing yesterday's blog, I decided to indulge in a spot of cooking to honour the mid-point of Lammas (the season of bread-making!) but also to use up some eggs and bananas.

I was very excited to be in the kitchen and to be exploring this side of my domestic capacity.  I prefer to use gluten-free flour and began creating my own recipe for Banana Bread.  In hindsight, I can see this was my first error in judgement!

I happily put flour, eggs, water, milk, bananas and cinnamon together in a bowl.  As I prepared to put the mixture into my bread-maker, I remembered the yeast! Oh yes! Yeast!  I needed to put in yeast.  Hmm... how much though?  I decided one teaspoon of yeast should go in... and then another.  Excellent! The mixture smelt divine!

I filled the container for the bread-maker and set it to bake.  Off I went to continue my domestic bliss and create a couple of dozen banana muffins.

Something caught my awareness so I turned towards the breadmaker.  My banana bread had mutated into something from the 50s horror movie The Blob.  It oozed over the sides, pushed up the lid and was trying to take over the world (i.e. my kitchen)!

With a scream of horror, I chose my weapon of choice - a spoon and a mixing bowl. I attacked with fervour and valour - scooping up spoonfuls of the goo and placing it in the bowl.  It continued to grow and expand.  Turning off the machine, I decided to create a containment area for the goo by placing it into two separate bread tins.

I quickly placed them into the oven and turned up the heat - I was going to contain that beast with heat!  After an hour of pacing in front of the oven, the beeper went off. I opened the door : hey presto!  Banana Bread.

Let me just say that it was divine!  *giggles*  I contained the Yeast Beast! (next time, I'll use a recipe!)

February 20 - Hats, chimineas and rainbows

What a wonderful weekend here in Sunny Queensland.  I hope yours was one to remember as well!  I flowed between some of my 'hats' this past two days -  teacher, healer, musician, mother, wife, beautician, friend, domestic goddess and 'me'.

Some of those hats can feel heavy at times; even a little off balance as if they are not sitting properly.  It takes focus to help them sit right! It's such a blessing to be surrounded by supportive, loving people who understand that our quirky humanity is what makes us so special.

Sunday's heat caused the temperatures to soar and a reminder that I needed to listen carefully to find the body's cues for needing more water.  I tackled the second bathroom in our home late Sunday afternoon - using this opportunity to not only clean the physical location but to also give myself a facial, a body wrap and a long soak in the shower.

The body wrap was simply aloe vera gel slathered all over and then wrapping myself up in a big towel as I worked.  Truly a sight to behold especially when I also had a vibrant green face mask on.  It was sheer bliss to be able to relax in a bubble bath filled with bath salts as a reward for a job well done.  I must say that the bathroom glistens! (Thanks to Norwex and a bit of elbow grease!)

My husband (MOAHS) also earned huge brownie points this weekend - not only did he cook lunch for the Workshop participants on Saturday, he also found a cast iron chiminea for our entertainment area.  We use a local Freecycle group to help recycle items and to save on land fill.  I now have a new project to restore this rusty chiminea into something beautiful.

As I sat outside this morning, contemplating the world, the number 42 (the answer to everything!) and the day ahead, I could hear 5 different bird songs filling the air around our home. Magic!  I turned to walk back inside and was struck by a beautiful image of rainbows filling the entertainment area.  These are from the myriad of crystal sun-catchers that I have decorating this space.  In that perfect moment of time, the dust, spiderwebs and general chaos of an outdoors family space became a thing of beauty.  It reminded me that within the darkest places, we can always find a rainbow of hope.

February 17 - Gimme an M, Gimme an E : ME TIME

Fridays are my Pom-Pom Days - I get to cheer for the most important person in my world: ME.  On my days 'off' work, I endeavour to not read for anyone else... it's my selfish time - where I can focus my healing and intuitive abilities inwards so that I may be blessed and healed.

This may mean meditation, drawing, painting, gardening, or even shopping. The point of a Pom-Pom Day is to do my daily tasks and MAKE time for what I would like to do.

I learnt a long time ago that the dust will still be there tomorrow, the bed is still able to be slept in even if the sheets aren't tucked correctly, the crushed look is still in (thank the Goddess) but if I do not look after myself, I may not be here tomorrow.

A Reiki Attunements class is being held here at Celticai Studio tomorrow and I could be racing around cleaning etc etc.  Although the workshop space will be cleansed and prepared as sacred, the rest can go to bedlam! *giggles*  As I stood in the space this morning and asked for a sign that all was okay with this space, three dragonflies buzzed in and wafted around my head.  I'm taking that as a "yes"!

So what do I have planned for my Pom Pom day?  Time spent with a good friend, a little bit of shopping, a little bit of sewing, a little bit of drawing and a LOT of time spent with my own company and my own thoughts.

Time to get my pom poms out and cheer for all that I AM.

February 16 - Dressing for freedom

Well, the past fortnight has surely been an interesting cycle of events! Although I feel that there has been a ramping up of energy, this has matched a slowing down of the physical body.  For myself, I have felt almost disconnected from daily life and wanting to sit in Source more often - or even just vegetate.  So, apart from working with Celticai Studio, I've been trying to be nice to myself.  That hasn't always been successsful! *laughing*

Where has Summer gone?  The heat of February hasn't presented itself very often.  I still wake in the morning with the need to pull a light blanket over my slumbering form rather than the usual lying in a pool of your own sweat.  I'm not complaining! Just making an observation! :)

The rains of the last week have kept the grasses growing well and have truly tested our time management with trying to keep the lawns looking well maintained.  We haven't quite won that battle either!

What has kept me on my toes is that I have taken to wearing dresses and skirts.  What?  You mean those flowing things that get tangled around your legs as you walk? Definitely.  I'm wondering when my real self will return!  I haven't worn dresses since high school graduation for Goddess' Sake!  Due to my career as a teacher, my body issues and also burgeoning health issues at the time, the last twenty odd years have meant that dresses and skirts stayed in the hidden recesses of my cupboard.

Then in the last week, these poor swathes of material have been given a chance to be aired and worn with joyous abandon.  I will cautiously admit that they make me feel feminine and flowing.  I will also admit that they do give you a sense of freedom.  Whether they look great or not is not the matter under consideration.

So, I asked Spirit - why am I suddenly feeling the need to dress up in skirts and dresses?  The reply - this is the Goddess Within asking for expresssion in your daily life.  When you reach for that item of clothing,  acknowledge how this makes you feel so that you can then use this throughout your day's work.

Okay, okay. I get it.  But one gust of wind that makes me do a Marilyn Monroe and I'm going back to my yoga pants and trousers!

I hope that the Goddess is flowing well for you this day.

7 February - Saturn Sings

A couple of days ago, I posted on my Palmistry Facebook page about the significance of the Saturn Finger. If you don't know which one of your fingers is called Saturn, it has many other names - the middle finger, the Bird, the 'rude finger'.. *laughing*

It's all about the way we think and the turns our thoughts take in giving of ourselves.  A few lovely astrological friends have made note that the planet Saturn is about to turn retrograde.  I find this really interesting as my Saturn finger has been alternatively aching, itching or twitching.

I took a few moments to ponder what this would mean.  Astrologically and Cheirographically (or palmistrically [new word!]), Saturn speaks of our service, the way we think that will help us BE.  I have found that many people have marks of service on their Saturn fingers.  These are the humanitarians or people with such a spiritual 'bent' that they give themselves to a cause - monastery, temple or church... or just to walk the Gentle Path.

This has led to my looking at my own hand and asking the Universe exactly HOW I can give MORE of myself, my talents and my skills to benefit positive energetic vibration.  *giggles* I'm not exactly sure if I'm ready for the answer!

Having said that, I'm also looking at my personal responsibilities for self, family, home, friends, community, Mother Earth.  What is an old duty that no longer serves its purpose?  What new routines and rituals may I establish to serve the needs of myself and those that are around me?

It's also a time to think of your personal boundaries ~ is it time to lower that 20 ft high barb wire fence or do I need to find a better way to protect the beauty within me?

Whichever way this season flows, I can feel Saturn's seriousness asking me to be mindful of when I jest and that laughter can soothe and also enrage a savaged beast.  (Mixed metaphor but I hope you get the drift!)

How protective and safe is your fence?

6 February - Potential Within

I hope you all had a lovely weekend as I know the MOAHS and I certainly did!  We harvested pumpkins from our garden, cleaned up parts of the house that were long overdue for some tender loving care, participated in band rehearsals and celebrated milestones with friends...

This led me to ponder a question I am asked frequently by clients: How do I reach my full potential?

Potential is a word that seems to conjure up images of something that is going to happen (i.e. in the future).  It is something to strive towards.

Yet, as a spiritual person, I am aware that the potential of the future rests within my NOW.  This very minute: the choices that I make, the emotions I feel, the actions I take.

Let's take for example, the seeds sown in my garden.  Each seed holds a promise; potential; power within to be something amazing.  Is it any less amazing as a seed than when it is a fully grown plant (hopefully bearing many fruits/vegetables)?  I feel that no matter the stage of growth or whether you are an ascending guru, you have the ability to be living to your fullest potential right now.

The potential is actually the power within - we make a moment by moment choice to live to the fullest of our potential.  This is conscious living.  I get excited about the fact that right now, in this very moment, I have the choice to live to my fullest potential. (Sometimes, that is vegetating on the couch! *laughing*)

As we make these conscious choices to live to our fullest potential, the boundaries move accordingly ~ just like the seed!  The seed makes the choice to grow. It takes in nutrients, drinks lots of water and bathes itself in sunshine. All these actions help the seed to display its power.  It begins to grow and it realises that it needs MORE.  Ahhh.. one of my favourite words!

So, my little seeds, I see the potential within you and hope that my actions in our garden will help you to realise the potential too!

2 February - Green is everywhere!

I know its the season of Lammas (Lughnasadh or Lunasa) and it is the time of Harvest. With all the rain we have had recently (and more to come) the lawn seed I had spread has now growing in the strangest of places.  Most of these places were not the planned recipients of 'greening': some are in great places, others will need some careful observation to make sure that the grass does not invade areas I would prefer to be left alone.

Either way, it all brings home to me the concept of change within our lives. We yearn for change.. we desire the 'greener grass on the next hill'.. always seeking ways to get closer to our ideal.  I'm reminded today to be thankful for all that does grow and for all the unexpected blessings that pop their heads up within my life.

What I do know is that I have a Harvest to clean up this weekend. It doesn't take psychic ability to know what it is either... an unwanted manifestation from all this rain is the spreading crop of fungus and mildew that is rising within my home. GAH!

My shoes are covered with it.. our walls are growing it.  I did suggest to MOAHS (Hubby) that we donate our house to the CSIRO or some other Scientific Institute to harvest the penicillin and put it to good use.  I thought that may be an easier option than my having to scrub, wash and clean all surfaces.  Looks like my next few days are all ready well planned ~ I see scrubbing brushes, cloths, washing machines and lots of lemonade in my future. *sigh*

Looks like I had better call on the Goddess Hera to help me bring warmth and light into my home.... I wonder if she does windows?

1 February - Rebirth

Yesterday, I noted that my garden was wild with Mock Orange. As I sit here typing, the smell wafts in through the open windows. The scent is like orange and jasmine mixed together ~ delicious!  Traditionally, this little shrub is said to speak of  deceit although I prefer to think of it as mimicry.  It copies the shape and scent of citrus trees with it's little white flowers and small fruits.

The Wheel has turned and today is the first day of the season of Lammas.  It was a delight to share on Reflect Radio the ways in which I plan to celebrate this time of the year as we flow from the modern seasons of Summer into Autumn!

For myself, this past 24 hour period has been one of tremendous releasing.  Past life issues jumped to the forefront of my mind that demanded my attention.  It is at these times that I am very thankful that my work schedule is incredibly flexible.  This all stemmed from a healing that I had last Friday ~ one where a past life rape was released into my consciousness.

It was necessary for me to call on some lightworker friends so that I could ask for assistance in this releasing.  All I asked was for their deliberate intention and attention for sending love and light.  I could feel this 'heaviness' birthing through me. Let me just say that it was NOT pleasant. Gah.

After pain and agony for 12 hours, I died. Literally.  At 12.22am I passed over - only to be met by my Guides who quite swiftly kicked me back onto the physical plane.  I 'came back' to my husband asking me if I was all right and a coughing fit that sent my body into spasms.

Interestingly, I have plans today to meet with a friend who is a medium/clairvoyant.  When I was in the soft blackness of the 'passing', I remember giggling and thinking, "Well, I'm going to meet my friend one way or another!"  I'm interested in knowing whether he 'felt' me go over last night and visit HIM!

Swiftly, I returned to the land of slumber as I wasn't scared, worried or concerned. I just knew that something had been released and I was reborn (again!).  I woke this morning with a sore throat and sore diaphragm from the coughing yet the overall sense was one of peace, joy and love.  I feel great!  A friend saw me on webcam this morning and she told me that I was glowing. It's just how I feel.  If only I could bottle it! ;)

I hope that your Lammas season is full of GENTLE releasing that manifests into a full, fruitful harvest of manifestation!

January 31 - When it rains, it pours

It has been five days since I was able to put pen to paper (figuratively speaking!) so that I may record the changes within our own little piece of paradise.

During these last few days, we have had nearly 800 mm (30 inches) of rain caught in our rain gauge.  Wow! I was almost ready to begin building our own version of the Ark.  Although, with my carpentry skills it may have been more like a tub or ended up as a single piece of floating wood!

The seed that had been sown across our lawn has probably ended up in the local river system.  Our zucchini plants were unable to cope with the deluge; floating on the top of the garden beds.  Most of my flowers were unable to keep their pretty heads up but the crucifix orchids are loving this weather!  Their flowers have come forth with merry abandon!

Trees lost branches as they were unable to sustain the weight brought to bear on them.  Leaves and twigs decorated the ground as if it was confetti after a New Year's celebration - slightly soggy but still colourful!

We are now ready to move into the season of Lammas ~ a time of harvest the first fruits.  I have plans that when the sun comes back out again, I will plant new seeds of silverbeet, luffa, sunflowers, snow peas and carrots.  There are pumpkins ready to harvest soon as well as chives to pick for drying.

In the meantime, I don't think I will put away the plans for the ark just yet!  February, here in south-east Queensland, is supposed to be a wet one!

January 26 - Rest

Today is a public holiday - Australia Day.  Historically, this day represents the time when the European settlements scattered across the land formed a united government and became a federation.

Today, I choose to honour all that have made our country great and to pray for unity, strength and community spirit. No matter your 'colour', creed or culture, if you have made your home here in Australia - Thank you.  I love this land on which I live.  My gift to the land was a XXXX beer (an Australian icon) and some cooked sausages (snags!) straight from the 'barbie'.

Dorothea McKellar's immortal poem of the sheer beauty and majesty of this country captures my feelings perfectly.

I hope that each of you choose to honour this land in your own way.  Namaste

My Country

The love of field and coppice
Of green and shaded lanes,
Of ordered woods and gardens
Is running in your veins.
Strong love of grey-blue distance,
Brown streams and soft, dim skies
I know, but cannot share it,
My love is otherwise.

I love a sunburnt country,
A land of sweeping plains,
Of ragged mountain ranges,
Of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons,
I love her jewel-sea,
Her beauty and her terror
The wide brown land for me!

The stark white ring-barked forests,
All tragic to the moon,
The sapphire-misted mountains,
The hot gold hush of noon,
Green tangle of the brushes
Where lithe lianas coil,
And orchids deck the tree-tops,
And ferns the warm dark soil.

Core of my heart, my country!
Her pitiless blue sky,
When, sick at heart, around us
We see the cattle die
But then the grey clouds gather,
And we can bless again
The drumming of an army,
The steady soaking rain.

Core of my heart, my country!
Land of the rainbow gold,
For flood and fire and famine
She pays us back threefold.
Over the thirsty paddocks,
Watch, after many days,
The filmy veil of greenness
That thickens as we gaze ...

An opal-hearted country,
A wilful, lavish land
All you who have not loved her,
You will not understand
though Earth holds many splendours,
Wherever I may die,
I know to what brown country
My homing thoughts will fly.

January 24 - Walls that protect us

In the midst of healing sessions today, the rain bucketed down. No, that isn't correct.  Torrential downpouring of heaven's waters may sound a tad more authentic!  Our poor rain gauge couldn't cope with the amount of rain so it was my job (being the only one in residence at the time), to wander out into the wild wet and empty it.

Now, our rain gauge takes 25mm (or one inch) initially and then overflows.  I carefully measured the entire contents to find that I filled that 25mm ten times.  Wow.  Goddess Mari sure knows her stuff.  I thanked her for all this water but also reminded her that our tanks were now full!

Due to the heavy rain and the my solitude, my current position description at my home is: long range weather forecaster, handyman, landscaper, flood prevention officer and Emergency Control Executive. Fancy, eh?

In between the healing sessions, I cleared branches, gutters, secured odd bits and pieces lying around as well as re-creating the Great Wall of Celticai.

A year ago, our local area was inundated with water.  Due to that weather, my family created the Great Wall of Celticai to stop rushing waters from flowing into our shed and damaging the contents.  This involved many choice words of... err... encouragement and physical labour,  Basically, we built a dam wall.  It isn't very high but it was surely effective.

During the last year, we had pulled most of it down as the land had recovered, grass was once again growing on the de-nuded landscape and the weather systems much more gentle.  In the falling dusk, I noted that the waters were rising towards our shed.  Oh no!   So, with hat on my head, shovel in hand and a small wheelbarrow, I moved all the bricks and planks back into place to protect our property.

It made me think of how we often begin, with pure intent, to protect ourselves on a daily basis.  I don't mean total withdrawal here.  Rather, I mean the daily choice to surround ourselves with good intention and a loving heart.  After a while, we forget to put these measures into place and become complacent that all is as it should be.  Suddenly, everything changes and we realise that our lack of personal protection means that we are hurt, annoyed, frustrated in the current circumstances.

A good friend recently shared with me that he starts each day by lighting incense, then a candle to help those who have passed over during the night, then has his shower to ritually cleanse his energy for the day.  Such simple things to do and can easily incorporated into our daily routines.

I cleanse my working space on a regular basis - sometimes 2-3 times a day!  By myself personally and my house?  Usually, this is done during the changes of the Wheel of Time.  So, thank you to my friend for reminding me to make daily routines such as candle lighting and hygiene practices a sacred part of everyday life. Thank you to Goddess Mari for prompting me to remember as I recreated the Great Wall of Celticai!

January 23 ~ Goldilocks heart

Have you ever sat within a crowd or at a large event and felt incredibly alone?  This is usually caused by a with-holding of your heart chakra. Drawing all that projected energy inwards to protect the fundamental essence of yourself.

On the flip side, you can be in a crowd and feel overwhelmed by the immensity of energy, emotions and experiences flowing around and through you.  This indicates an over-extension of the heart chakra ~ reminding me of a sea anemone with its tentacles spreading outwards so that it can catch whatever happens to be around.

Finding that balance between the two states can be tricky as it takes practice to maintain the equilibrium.  Yesterday was such a day to me.. one moment, I felt alone and then I would feel swamped.  Up and down like a yo-yo!  Hello? Divine Healing Energy??? Help!!!

Calling the spiritual equivalent of 000 (911 for the Americans amongst us) can be as simple as dropping your head in prayer and taking a quiet moment to find the stillness within.  A wise person once said: peace is not always available around you, but it is available within you at all times.  However, because of our emotional state, we can also feel a little like Agent 86 from Get Smart ~ trying to dial out on the shoe phone, the fire hydrant or whatever 'gadget' is the latest invention.

Prayerful intention seems to me as the easiest way to align yourself in that state of peace; to find that state of balance within our heart.  Plus it is readily available at all times!  Not even costing a cent! Woot!

So, if you are like Goldilocks today, trying to find that balance of  "Not too hot, not too cold,  but just RIGHT" may I suggest that you take that moment and pray.  Pray to whomever is your Supreme Being of Choice asking for Peaceful Love to centre and remain within you.

You can do this while washing up, taking the kids to school, lying on the sofa or wherever it is that you find yourself.

May your heart always be: just right!

January 20-22 ~ Manic Mower

New Moon and Dragon Chinese New Year blessings to you for January 23rd.  This weekend has brought forward many health related issues for me.

On the plus side, it was a weekend of connection ~ I connected with many friends who felt 'led' to contact me. Truly a blessing to me!  Thank you.  On the flip side, it was a weekend of pushing some physical boundaries and 'reaping' the consequences.

Our lawns needed mowing as the grass was so thick from the recent rain.  MOAHS and I decided that we would mow before any storms hit.  With my hands on my hips, I firmly stated that I would use the hand-mower as he had a tendency to just keep going and then fall over in exhaustion.  He could then us the ride-on mower and do the majority of the yard safely.  That told him, didn't it!?!  After half an hour pushing our lawnmower around the yard, I felt dizzy and sick to my stomach.  Gah!  I went to the tanks and let cold water rush over my face and head to try and cool me down.  I sipped cool water for approximately twenty minutes then felt ready to do the next part of the yard.  After three more rounds of twenty minutes mowing, ten minutes resting (and finishing my job), I was able to retreat to the entertainment area.  I ached and heaved as the world swam before my eyes.  This wasn't good.

MOAHS returned from his lawnmowing adventure (learning that one should never tussle with bougainvillea bushes), took one look at me and sent me to have a shower and a lie down.  Merciful Goddess!  To lie down under a fan was pure bliss.  During my rest, my body flared with the auto-immune condition that plagues my physical body. Double Gah!  So, I know that the next week will be one where I have to look after myself very carefully!

We did manage to plant two poinsettia bushes and another croton on the weekend.  Hopefully, this will fill a 'void' in our garden.  As hubby watered the vegie patch yesterday, I seeded lawns and 'bare spots'. Sending love and light and gentle rain to all of these!

Today, before I wrote this, I was researching the New Moon and Chinese New Year cycle.  I came across some information stating the solar flares of the last week have been the biggest.  This usually means feeling lethargic, eye problems, headaches, migraines, exhaustion and experiencing weird dreams.  Ta-dah! That resonated so strongly for me.

As the cycles of the year move into the year of the Water Dragon, I've taken the time to sit and really think about what I would like in nine different areas of my life.  On the 23rd, during the night, I will offer these to the the dieties of my choice with some simple words of thanks and honour.

Number 1 on the list? No more manic mowing!

January 19 - Retreat!

Sound the horns, bang the drum
the time to retreat has surely come!

Go within to know and see
What needs to grow or needs to flee

This moon today shines her light
Asks us to see with our insight

Shamanic knowing begins to grow
Meditation enhances the flow

Ask yourself: What brings you joy?
And what is merely ego's ploy?

Step forward now and gently walk
Heed the call of the Messenger Hawk.

Open your senses to learn, observe -
Heightening your self, energy and verve!

January 18 ~ Techno Fae

Confirmation is a powerful thing ~ I feel I should be singing that with an electronica beat behind it!  Like Cascada (love that band!). Since last year and the flooding that occured in the local area (actually it was more like the whole of South-East Queensland), I have had significant difficulties with our internet connection.

I smudged, affirmed, consecrated and attuned our internet with so much Reiki it is a wonder it was working.  I even did the practical thing (shock, horror) and had numerous tech guys come in to give their input into the 'healing'.  They would shake their heads in disbelief invariably 'fix' the problem then and there.  The only difficulty was that as soon as the left (or three days afterwards) the fix would stop working. ARRGH!  C'mon Universe ~ the internet is the lifeline of my connection with the world as well as the core of my business.

Today, a miracle occurred.  A friend directed me to a computer-ManGod (CMG) who was also Celtically inclined. I'm aware that Celtically is a new word too ~ I just created it ;)  CMG had been to see my computers once before.  He wanted time to ponder what was going on with it all.  When he visited yesterday, he said: I think it is your modem.

Simple words. Yet so powerful. Every other darn thing had been replaced, measured, tested and modified - except the modem.

If it hadn't been for all the energy that I poured into our devices and the wonderful Techno Fae that assist with technology, I do not think we would have had internet this long.  I picture these fae as having garments covered in circuitry and little lightning bolts for hair.  Plus, they all tend to look like Harry Potter. *giggles*

Now, I just have to work out what I should leave for the Techno Fae in thanks. Rum and tobacco just don't seem appropriate... maybe a lightbulb???

It reminds me that we should always go for the simple solution ~ as we get more complex, we waste so much time and energy fixing the wrong turns!  So here is my solution to everything: love and light!

Happy Manifesting!

January 17 continued ~ nuts

I love family dinners as I am truly blessed with a beautiful family.  Once a week, the family treks out and meets at a local venue to share some love, light and laughter with each other.  Even when the chips are down and we may no be feeling a 100% we still get together. Why? Because we feel the love flowing around the table and it boosts us up.  A problem shared and all that, you know ;)

I looked around the table last night and had a quiet giggle to myself.  There was MOAHS expounding on the virtue of Australian Beer to anyone who would listen.  After a long day at work, he can still find the time to gather the clan and bring them together.  He may be gruff and have strong opinions yet his heart is golden marshmallow.  No wonder I chose him as my partner this lifetime.

There was One-Son ~ tall and strong in his butcher's outfit.  A throwback to the days when men were as tall as mountains.  We always knew that he would find something to do with knives (thank the goddess that it is productive).  In vision, I often see him as a Viking ~ all he needs is a beard and fur clothing.  He often bemoans the fact that he cannot grow a whisker on his face. *giggles*

Sitting next to him was his betrothed.  She puts the glam in fashion and will give any drag-queen a run for their money in terms of glitz, colour and leopard print.  The love in her eyes for One-Son is a pleasure to behold and we love the way she has just slid into her own special spot within the family.

Presiding over the table was my Maman. Her hearing may be going at times, but her sense of humour and enjoyment in hearing all that is happening in our lives is precious.  She may be small of stature and need our help to walk up and down stairs - do not let that fool you.  She's a mother bear; ready to defend her family at all costs.

Two-Son sits quietly amongst the fray.  A droll comment or two will drop at the appropriate times to crack us all up!  Last night's clanger was his story about being spray-tanned so badly that his feet turned to the colour of pumpkin.  His twirled moustache and dapper dress sense makes him a throwback to 1940s Hollywood. He's often asked where is his penny-farthing!

All precious; all unique.  There is a lot of truth in the saying: My family tree is full of nuts. We actually decided what nut we wanted to be last night.  I told everyone that I wanted to be a cashew! *laughing*  No particular reason ~ I just like em!  What nuts fall from your family tree?

16 and 17 January ~ awe-struck

Today, I walked my garden path
Looking through eyes anew
Wondering why my bones did creak
As I grew, and grew and grew

No cathedral required for this walk
I find my inspiration here
Surrounded by simple solitude
Spirits presence is always near

The spires of trees reach to the sky
This garden bench my pew
Nature's song the heavenly choir
Spider web stained glass covered with dew

I choose to take this garden path
One foot each side of the veil
With heart focused and deepening breath
Ascension will always prevail.

January 14 & 15 ~ Wasp Waltz

The wonders of our body! Mine was informing me that rain was on the way (courtesy of Matthew pushing me off a pipe at kindergarten and breaking my wrist).  Although, MOAHS (hubby) and I were really wanting a relaxing and quiet weekend, we knew that the upcoming wedding in May meant that we needed to work in the garden.

At the end of our entertainment area, we have a small feature garden.  I use the word feature with some hesitation and trepidation.  It has more of a tendency to be a veritable jungle where the local green snake likes to hang out.  Sshh ~ that's not something I tell all our visitors!  We were looking for a sense of flow and also to include colour within a native flora spectrum.  (Sounds swish, eh?)

We started by pruning (decapitating) our dracena ribbon plant.  It's also called Lucky Bamboo however, I believe it is not even a part of the bamboo family.  I asked permission before lopping it off at midriff height. Thankfully, the energy I felt was very understanding.  Then we removed a shrub that I have never been able to find out the name of it!  Although covered in tiny red berries every November/December, this plant was taking over the garden.  MOAHS (master of all he surveys) decided to get a crowbar, a shovel and some pure masculine grunt to remove it!  Done and dusted. Woot.

My role amongst all this seemingly random devastation was to wo-man the mulcher.  The Dracena made the most awesome multi-coloured mulch which we returned to the earth in this section of the garden. We've left a hole where the mystery shrub had been.  This is to be filled with one or two crotons.  Although not native, they grow extremely well in our garden + the MOAHS loves them and so do the local fauna.  We've picked out two crotons from our garden that were not in ideal growing conditions.  Next weekend's task is to move them from their existing spot into the feature garden.

We could see the rain clouds building during the day and our efforts became much more frantic as the afternoon progressed.  MOAHS was digging up the mystery shrub when he gave quite a startled yelp.  From the mulcher, I could see from the corner of my eye that he was doing a masculine version of my beastie dance.  He is quite graceful and flexible. *giggling*  Yep, hubby had managed to find a paper wasp nest and was being stung.  I know, not a laughing matter!  As he swung from side to side and then dashed off to the entertainment area to find his Wasp Whacking Whacker, I moved away from the area just in case.

That was the worst decision of the day.  I found another paper wasp nest near our shed.  The cousins of the wasps currently being whacked in yonder garden decided to take action on behalf of their cousins.  Yikes!  I ran as fast as I could into the relative safety of the entertainment area while yelling out comments such as: Argh! Don't squash them!  One's flying above.. behind.. around.. Holy Toledo, they're everywhere! Run, Hubby Run.

Finally, the garden was safe for us to go back in and finish our jobs.  I pondered the significance of all these wasps. As a power animal, Wasp Energy helps us find organized focus, and assistance with communicating assertively. As master builders, wasp energy also guides us with projects we have in mind.

Here's to a week of focus and communication!

January 12 ~ Was blind, now I see

On Facebook recently, I shared that my new glasses irked me.  No, they really cheesed me off.  The lenses did not help me to see. Instead, I felt that everything was slightly blurry and 'off'.  My ears were rubbed raw and the bridge of my nose looked like hubby had thrown a swift punch sometime during the last week.  Not quite the look of beauty that I was searching for!

Finally, I was able to go to the Optometrist to have this problem fixed actually, I told him that I was there to have a pleasant whinge. *giggles*  No problems, the cheerful gentleman replied, I can see that your glasses are sitting too low and that the bridge needs widening.  He took the glasses from me and tweaked them.  After cleaning the lenses, he placed them back on my face.

Oh, my Goddess Danu! Woot! I could see! Hallelujah!  I did an impromptu version of Amazing Grace (calypso style) right there in the shop.  At least I amused the clientele and staff of the store.  My best friend just clapped along with the beat!  (That's one of the reasons I love her to bits. She lets me be crazy every now and then.)

Such a simple thing to change and it brought my focus back to crystal clear.  Of course, it reminded me that we sometimes lose our focus. We can still 'see' but unbeknownst to us, we are just a little 'off'.  Meditating, relaxing, connecting with nature are all ways that we can help ourselves keep focused.

So, if you are ready, repeat after me: I see. I hear. I feel. I know. I understand!

The hot weather has cooled after two days... now I'm waiting to see what manifests out of that baking session! *grin*

See you next week.

January 11 ~ Game of Life

I wrote yesterday about the fog and wondering what gift would be revealed during the day.  The gift that I saw was a deepening of knowledge as I wrote energetic forecasts for people.  As I glanced around or took a small break from connecting with Source and writing my perceptions, I kept seeing the numbers 227.  Okay, once is random, twice is a co-incidence, three times is a God-cidence!  So what did they mean?  I grabbed my copy of Doreen Virtue's Angel Numbers Book.  According to Doreen, my Angels were basically forming a Cheer Squad on the sidelines, yelling out "Go, Celticai, Go!"   Yay!  *shake pom poms*

No matter the reading or healing session that I am completing, there is always something in the messages received for me.  It may be a gentle nudge or a swift kick in the rear end.  Either way, no session is without mutual benefits.  I did wonder though why our Guides are becoming more insistent, persistent and sometimes downright cranky with us.  Hey.. I thought it was all love and light???

As I watered the garden in the magical time of twilight, I received a little 'video' that I would like to share with you.

An umpire stood before me with the word Source on his shirt.  He had a whistle, coloured flags and something that could only be described as a poker.  He gestured behind him and there was a huge playing field.  I giggled as I saw that all the players were young children. The Ump (I'm using male gender for ease of grammatical accuracy although the Ump was actually non-gender!) turned back to me and sort of rolled his eyes as if to say, well, this is what I work with on a daily basis.  A scoreboard read Ascension  and Stagnation with numbers quickly running back and forth across them.

As I looked onto the field, each of the 'children' were playing different sports - tennis, chess, soccer, darts, skiing. You name it and the sport/activity was there!  Some children were just sitting on the field contemplating their belly button, some were playing in the mud, some stood looking around as if to say "where's the ball?".  Other children were trying to organise themselves into some sort of team and actually playing a game.

On the sidelines, figures were cheering and encouraging the players to Ascend.  So many players were oblivious to their surroundings and the cheering from the sidelines.  The Ump shrugged his shoulders and said that this was okay.  The Game of Life has no set rules.. only to ascend.  How you get there and how you play the game is up to you.  He said: I'm here to fly the flag and give you direction, prod you along when you are stagnant for too long, blow the whistle when you try to wander off the field inappropriately but most importantly, I'm here to encourage you.  When you choose to enter the Game (and everyone does) you can choose which team, which sport and what type of personality you want to display.

It reminded me strongly of trying to teach my Preschool class how to play cricket once.  In the end, I threw out the rule book and said, throw the ball, hit the ball, play nicely but most of all have FUN!

I like that lesson!

Play BALL!

January 10 ~ Let 'er rip!

Phew! That energy of the Full Moon has waxed and now is settling into something interesting. I love that word! To find things interesting implies that an open-mindedness, a willingness to explore and boldly go forth into new territory with a courageous heart.  Oooh.. I feel all Star-Trekkin'!

The computers continued to play up and I wondered what had happened.   I affirmed: The energies of the computer, the internet and I are safely balanced and protected as we work harmoniously together.  Hmm.. that didn't work!  I ended up broadcasting on Reflect Radio through my desktop and the ancient microphone that I found located at the back of a dark and dusty cupboard.  Interesting!

As I worked with a client during the afternoon, I was shown an image of a silver cord perfectly wrapped around the chakras. The end of this cord extended through the crown chakra.  I was asked to 'pull-start' the chakras during the holistic healing.  Not only did I feel that this started something magical in manifestation for the client, I felt that energy move through my own body as well. Interesting!

On your mark! Get Set! Go!

My youngest stepson arrived home from work  Of course, he didn't handle the withdrawal from the internet very well at all.  He was on the phone to our internet provider faster than you could say 'connect'.  Through the wonders of technology, we discovered that our modem had reset itself and wouldn't allow multiple devices to run through it! Hmmm...

I like that analogy ~ I feel we are all being reset this year to allow multiple dimensions of energy to run through our bodies; integrating to become whole. So, starting our engines and increasing the 'revs' will help our vibration to let rip!  Woot!

I'll take just a moment to blog ahead of myself as well.. our household awoke this morning to an environment covered in a pea-soup fog.  Oh WOW!  I love fog! Why? Because it resonates with lifetimes past spent on mist-covered mountains.  It also makes me think of a present.  The fog is the Earth's way of saying: Look beneath the layers, as my sunshine slowly reveals what lies beneath, it is a magical moment of manifestation.  I am so looking forward to seeing what manifests!

January 9 - Cancer Full Moon

Well, that was a doozy of a day!  What else is possible?  The energies were quite intense and I felt almost wiped out.  Instead of flowing through work, I was feeling quite 'bogged' down.  Did you feel the same?

What I chose to do, rather than pushing through that quagmire energy, was to rest and recharge.  I gave myself permission to reschedule readings and healings till tomorrow so that I could focus on myself.  I'm so glad that I did.  I felt much better about myself too!  I had a 'Caithe-nap' and then spent time in my garden.

All the crystals sat out on the brick wall soaking up the gorgeous South-east Queensland heat. What a gloriously HOT summer's day (says she as she spent most of it in the air-conditioning),  The two hours that I did spend outside were in conjunction with the zenith of the full moon, placing my crystals outside.

When I was finished with that task, I thought: Hmm Cancer energies need water.  So I hooked up our pump to our water tanks, ready to water the garden and water the crystals too.  As I turned on the hose, the skies opened in a heavy sun-shower!  AWESOME!  I still watered though as I felt that the rain basically evaporated as soon as it hit the earth.

After dinner and connecting with family, I attempted to open a joint page ~ Chakra PowerUps with my friend, Lorrae.  *laughing* Facebook was NOT happy. It was definitely responding to the lunar energies.  In the end, we had to close the page and begin again. So, if you are on Facebook, look us up ~ Celticai Chakra PowerUps! *hugs*

Full Moon Blessings.
